Java Developer - FO Equity Team - NYC Bank - 150k

My client, a major investment bank in New York City, is looking for an experienced java candidate to work on the system of record for an Equity Derivative trading floor. The candidate will be developing processes to import data consumed by live risk system, calculate P&L, feed positions to all downstream systems such as Market Risk, General Ledger, Compliance, Clearing and Client reporting.

Requirements:

7+ years experience developing in Financial Applications

5 years experience with Core Java 1.6 or greater

Shell scripting (korn, bash, perl, etc.)

Unix/Linux commands

Strong Database skills (SQL, Stored Procedures, performance tuning)

Experience in Equities or Fixed Income required - Must understand financial derivative products

This is a full-time role and at this time, the client can not transfer visas.
