Java Developer Expert (Brussels)

In the scope of major software projects/programs, our company is searching for an Java developer expert

Function Description
He/she will be in charge of the development cycle of new applications, from technical analysis until production phase.
The developer will become part of a project team of +/- 10/15 people organized and working according to Agile methodology and will deal with the different tasks of the development.
Principal responsibilities
- Integrate the agile team and act a real teamplayer
- Fill in the role of developer in the team, during the sprints of the projects;
- Deliver the products as requested
- Participate actively to the Daily scrum meetings.
- Participate to the Sprint planning meeting, sprint demo, sprint retro.

- Provide support & advices in java technologies and best practices
- Acquire an in depth knowledge of the coding standards and guidelines within Fortis, and apply them.
- Acquire an in depth knowledge of the secured development rules within Fortis, and apply them
- Take in consideration performance constraints
