JAVA DEVELOPER (DUTCH SPEAKER)

One of my leading financial services clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a JAVA DEVELOPER for a long-term contract paying excellent rates. This is an indefinite assignment. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

THE JAVA DEVELOPER WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- HBO/Academic level of education
- Solid general IT-knowledge;
- Expert Java knowledge - 5 years' enterprise Java
- Experience with enterprise Spring/Hibernate;
- Experience with GUI/Web Interfaces (preferably JSF);
- Understanding of Unix/Linux, Tomcat, Unit Testing/Maven/automated deployment and Oracle SQL
- AngularJS experience is advantageous;
- Good understanding of Market Risk methodologies, practices, regulations and FM products;
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- You are a team player, with good communication skills (fluent in English) and experience in working in an agile environment and in scrum teams.
- You understand and support the scrum practices and are familiar with the roles and responsibilities of a Scrum Master, Agile Coach and (Chief) Product Owner.

THE JAVA DEVELOPER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You deliver on promises and are capable of translating the requirements of the business in a plan of action and are able to follow up on short and strict deadlines.
- You have a clear view and focus on personal and team development, actively looking for improvements.
