JAVA Developer - Contract - Netherlands

KW - CT - JAVA DEVELOPER - SC CLEARED - XML - UML - VERIFICATION & VALIDATION

An urgent requirement has come for an experienced JAVA DEVELOPER to join a leading Government & Defense organisation initially for a THREE MONTH CONTRACT WITH THE CHANCE TO EXTEND.The role is BASED IN NETHERLANDS. The successful candidate MUST BE SC CLEARED OR EQUIVALENT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Improve the generated diagrams(orchestration and processing flow)
- Enhance the HTML version regarding hyperlinking. HTML representation generated from XML instance documents.
- Documentation and material to support Verification and Validation (V&V) - Contribute and produce material to support V&V, demonstrate how the achievements for this generic would be applicable for other Tactical Data Link Documents
- Analyse the related available documents (ie stan, icdS, sidS etc) to support the design and to implement the required new functionalities. This should be done in coordination with the project manager and with the direct supervision of the Lead Engineer
- The JAVA Developer shall test the implemented functionality and document the results according to any required standards

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Strong Development, design and analysis skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Object Oriented software development and design
- Minimum 3 years of experience in XML, XML Schema and XSLT development
- Familiar with the Mercurial version control too and the Maven project management system
- Experienced on Linux as Java development environment
- Experience with UML
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- MUST BE SC CLEARED
