Are you an experienced JAVA developer looking for a contract job in Switzerland? Do you have experience with Server Side programming with low latency systems? Would you like to work for a top tier bank in Switzerland? If this apples to you, then this contract opportunity could be an ideal fit for you.

You will be a Senior Developer working in the Credit Risk team working on internal low latency systems of the bank. You will be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle and work on financial products such as derivatives and FX. For this reason, previous experience in the financial industry, ideally with Credit Risk and financial products, is a big plus.

Technically, you are supposed to have strong Core Java and JEE skills with common frameworks such as Spring. Along with that, strong experience with Unix, Linux or Solaris are a must. Furthermore, you should have at least 3 years experience with a DB technology, ideally Sybase. Along with these required skills, experience with C++, Oracle Coherence and JMS is a nice to have.

Alongside purely cutting code, the team are looking for a JAVA developer that can be proactive in helping with design decision, propose new ideas and also propose new technologies to the team.
