Java Developer (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
In the scope of major software projects/programs, we are searching for an Java developer to reinforce the current java development
team. As a first mission, participation to the renewal of the contact center infrastructure and applications

Function Description
He/she will participate to the development cycle of new and existing applications, from technical analysis until production phase.
The java developer will become part of a project team and will deal with the different tasks of the development. He will collaborate with several team : analyst
team to understand the requests, with testing team during execution of different testing phases, with release management and deployment team to deploy
applications .

Principal responsibilities
° Support delivery Manager or project leader during elaboration phase of a project
° Review of functional design, or other technical documents (application analysis documents, component design, …)
° Provide or challenge estimations for a development
° For each component of an applications, produce a component design document based on the application design.
° Based on the component design, develop the application according the different coding guidelines and standards in the bank; also taking into account
the secured development guidelines.
° Unit test the developed application (and use automate UT tools when possible); provide test evidences.
° Participate to the integration of the application with the other layers (backend, external sources, …)
° Deliver the coding packages to deployment team; provide Delivery Form
° Provide a very reactive support during QA phase (incident solving) via standard tool (Quality Center)
° Active support to release management team for production installation
° Log and report the lessons learned in order to work out good practices for the further projects.
° Help define improvement areas

Other responsibilities
° Acquire an in depth knowledge of the coding standards and guidelines and apply them.
° Acquire an in depth knowledge of the secured development rules and apply them
° Be persistent to get a running product with different parties and stakeholders
° Take in consideration performance constraints
° Provide Support to external suppliers towards understanding of our frameworks, and environmental problems (or others)

1 - 3 years of relevant banking experience,

preferably
in Cash Management and Payments and/or in a Process Management role

Technical experience / knowledge:
° MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Aris, Visio

Mandatory:
° Minimum 1 year of experience in Banking
° Willingness to travel to Paris and Rome on a weekly basis (1 to 3 days per week)
