Java Developer - 3 Month Contract - Helsinki

Java, J2EE, JSF.

My client are a large globally known consultancy, with their end client based in Helsinki. They are looking for a strong Java Developer to come on board for an initial 3 months. You should possess strong commercial working experience with JSF (must have implemented minimum of 2-3 projects recently). Excellent understanding of Java/J2EE, JUnit, Mocking framework, with good Knowledge of Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, SONAR.

Responsibilities:
Design and development of Web based application.
Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate to manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities.
Bridge the gap between onshore and offshore.
Participating in the daily stand-up and sprint planning.

Required Skills:
Experience as a software engineer/programmer with Java/J2EE/JSF
Experience with JSF
Strong background working on projects using Agile methodologies

Desired Skills:
Experience writing unit tests
Behavioural Driven Development
JQuery, JavaScript, CSS
Coherence Cache and GRID implementation
Apache Tomcat, WebSphere
jUnit and mocking frameworks
Source control systems such as GIT
