Our Client is looking for a Java Developer Medior
BASIC OBJECTIVE:
IT eDevelopment is a sub-department of IT Delivery. IT eDevelopment has as core activities the development and maintenance of various customer-facing communication channels.
With IT eDevelopment, the customer is 'first', whereby in consultation with the internal customer the correct balance is sought between flexibility and professionalism, resulting in qualitative deliveries with respect for the set deadline.
As a Java developer you work as a developer in a team that is responsible for a completely new web application
This application will be responsible for the management of orders including technical data, and also support different end-user flows where communication is done with an external API via SOAP protocol.
You are looking for a healthy balance between technical complexity and productivity. You keep a good overview of all parts of the application and you also know when you have to make a pragmatic distinction between future-proof solutions and requirements that need to be implemented quickly.
RESULT AREAS:
Converting and developing the requirements and user stories into an appropriate architecture
Writing automated unit and integration tests
Documenting the implemented architecture and solution
Providing support to the test team during the integration phase
Education and experience level
Minimum 3 years relevant experience as
-Java web application developer,
-Knowledge of Java 8 Experience with Spring/Spring Boot framework
-Experience with UI Bootstrap is a bonus Javascript,
-Angular 1 Implementation and integration of - SOAP Web Services Familiar with Git and accompanying workflows
-Agile mindset,
-SCRUM Clean code supporter, TDD mindset Continuous integration, Jenkins
Excellent command of Dutch and English Competences
You develop in a scrum team, according to agile best-practices
You are a team player with your own input and opinion
You can work independently or in groups
You can think analytically and conceptually
You are open to acquire knowledge and share it with your team
You take responsibility
You can organize your work and set priorities
You can deal with stress situations
