Java Developer

My client, one of the leading Telecoms operators in Belgium, is looking for a Dutch speaking Java Developer to join the IT eDevelopment department. This department has as core activities the development and maintenance of various customer-facing communication channels.

As a Java developer you work as a developer in a team that is responsible for a completely new web application.

This application will be responsible for the management of orders including technical data, and also support different end-user flows where communication is done with an external API via SOAP protocol.

Responsibilities:
* Converting and developing the requirements and user stories into an appropriate architecture
* Writing automated unit and integration tests
* Documenting the implemented architecture and solution
* Provide support to the test team during the integration phase

Experience:
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a Java web application developer
* Knowledge of Java 8
* Experience with Spring/Spring Boot framework
* Experience with UI Bootstrap is a bonus
* Javascript, Angular 1
* Implementation and integration of SOAP Web Services
* Familiar with Git and associated workflows
* Agile mindset, SCRUM
* Clean code supporter, TDD mindset
* Continuous integration, Jenkins
* Excellent command of Dutch and English
* You develop in a scrum team, according to agile best practices
