On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a JAVA DEVELOPER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Development of web based application built on following components:
- Backend: Oracle (v11) RDBMS
- Application Server: Tomcat (v7)
- Frontend -JSP and jQuery and Knockout JavaScript frameworks

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Extensive experience within the following technologies:
- Java7 development
- RDBMS (Oracle) and SQL. PL/SQL
- Hibernate
- JavaScript
- Tomcat, JSP, Spring
- Unix (Solaris, basic Shell Scripting)
- Maven, SVN, Jenkins nice to have
- Eclipse or IntelliJ
- Fluent in English spoken and written
- Testing experience (TDD) are a plus
- Knowledge of IT Security are nice to have
