Java Developer

THE DUTIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE;

- Developing the system build processes;
- Performing software development (including coding and unit testing), quality assurance testing and support of user acceptance testing, where required;
- Attending and actively contributing to workshops including those discussing technical designs;
- Working closely with the Business Analysts, the Solution Architect and the Technical Lead in order to translate functional requirements, architecture documentation and high level design documents into detailed technical design documents;
- Working with the Development Manager to ensure delivery of the agreed deliverables within agreed timeframes;
- Continually establishing and nurturing development capability;
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING:

- Ability to critically analyse and re-engineer business processes
- Ability to formulate requirements statements for ICT systems
- Ability to successfully engage and interact with business users and service providers
- Experience with and understanding of client-facing Web-based transaction systems
- Experience with and understanding of complex mixed-platform ICT environments
- EJB2.0/3.0.
- Front End, Ajax, CSS, Javascript.
- Development knowledge on Windows.
- Knowledge of ETL concepts.
- Eclipse desktop development
