Java Developer

For a project in Brussels we are looking for a Java Developer for the following role.

Working closely with the management and business analyst to deliver software on time and with the required quality.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions.
Meet realistic implementation schedules and adhere to development goals and principles.
Define, design and implement solutions with a balanced view of all key architectural quality metrics such as performance, scalability, testability, reliability, maintainability, extendibility, and interoperability.
Provide third line support the operational and business teams.

Qualifications:

Experience with FIX protocol is a must have
5+ years of professional related Java/J2EE experience and Object Oriented methodologies
5+ Experience with Spring, JMS, REST API, JSON
Experience with relational databases (preferably MS SQL)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and relationship skills and have a can-do attitude
