Java Developer

Our client located in Tucker, GA is seeking a Java Developer for an exciting opportunity.  Our client is looking for a Java Developer who will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and integrating systems and software tools and technologies.  If you are a Java Developer and enjoy service - now development, this may be a great opportunity for you. The Java Developer position is a permanent position.

The Java Developer JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Searching for process improvement opportunities
- Solution acquisition and/or development
- Documentation and training
- Assisting with systems and applications debugging

The Java Developer REQUIREMENTS:

- Technical degree, certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Service-Now and Web 2.0 development.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol; requires knowledge of networking hardware and ability to use that knowledge to configure and maintain installed systems.

Service-now development experience, including:

- Request Management
- Workflows
- Integrations (SOAP, Email, possibly others)
- ServiceNow Javascript (advanced)
- Creating/Modifying Record Producers
- Creating Custom Apps
- Transform Maps
- Scheduled Jobs
