Java Developer

A background in mathematics/working with algorithms or GIS technology will enable you to settle into this environment with ease.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Experience in design, development, and unit testing of JEE web applications using the Spring and Hibernate Frameworks;
- Experience in using the Oracle relational database;
- Experience with XML technologies (XML, XSD);
- Experience with Objected-Oriented analysis and design;
- Orientation to team-work and problem solving;
- Agile methodology exposure.

WISH LIST OF SKILLS

- Experienced with configuration, release and dependency management of source code using Subversion and Maven;
- Demonstrated experience in developing systemsand technical documentation;
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to customer's working culture and environment.
- Experience with Linux and Solaris Unix Operating System environment;
- Experience with, Web Services, Tomcat, AJAX, JQUERY, JSON.

Prior experience within a scientific or research oriented environment will be advantageous to your application.

No security clearance required - possibility exists to secure a baseline clearance after 6 months!
