Java Developer

Java Developer - North Wales - £30,000 - £35,000 My client is looking to hire an experienced Java developer to join its growing IT department in North Wales. The reason for growth is due to winning some very large contracts and therefore an exciting time for a new member to join! The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience of Java and web applications as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of the following is required: Java J2SE 6.0 JavaScript HTML JSP Spring Core Version Control Build tools EG Ant or Maven Unit Testing They will also be comfortable with Linux commands and have used JDBC to connect to an Oracle database. Knowledge of the following would be an advantage: JQuery Struts or Spring MVC 3 with annotations JPA/Hibernate Tomcat or equivalent Maven Profiles PL/SQL Drools CVS/Subversion Spring Security 3.0 with annotations JUNIT - Sprint Testing, Mock Frameworks To be considered for this role or for more details contact Heather O'Rourke at Computer Futures
