Objectives:
To design, code, and test components within a J2EE architecture to support applications for the financial services markets
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Business Analysts and Technical Leads on design aspects to meet technical and business requirementsDevelop high quality software components within a J2EE development environmentAssist or lead detailed design efforts to deliver the use case requirements given Software Architecture and Technical InfrastructureContribute to the definition, maintenance and adherence to development guidelines/standards and processesAssist with the deployment and administration of the Technical Infrastructure (servers and services, both J2EE and Database)Experience, Skills & Personal Attributes
Excellent written and verbal English communication skillsOrganised and thorough with a strong team working attitudeBelieves in cooperation and possesses exemplary mentoring skillsExperience in communicating with clients5+ years experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design3+ years experience in design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) (i.e. Use Cases, Sequence and Activity Diagrams, etc.)3+ years with J2EE Application Design, Coding, and Implementation (e.g. WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle, jBoss)5+ years experience with Web Application technologies such as DHTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP, TCP/IP, XML, Servlets, JSP, Struts, Dojo, AJAX, JSON5+ years experience in Java/J2EE and Service Oriented Architecture Technologies such as Web Services, EJB, JMS, JDBC, Spring Framework5+ years experience with SQL including Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft T-SQL5+ years experience with general Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server DB Administration5+ years experience in Object Relational Mapping Persistent and Caching Layer Technologies such as Hibernate5+ years experience with UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX) and Microsoft Windows3+ years experience with Java development & deploy tools such as Eclipse, Ant, Maven, Tomcat
