Proteus Europe acting as an employment agency is currently seeking a JAVA DEVELOPER for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT in SHANNON (REPUBLIC OF IRELAND). Our client is a global provider of a broad range of telecom IT solutions focused on charging, billing, customer care, messaging and content services.

Acknowledged for agility and commitment, our client employs more than 900 employees serving over 100 operators globally and is currently looking for a Java Developer to join the company on a contract basis.

We are looking for candidates with strong THREADING and ASYNCHRONOUS INTERFACES along with JAVA,
JBOSS and JDBC to develop an Application Server using JBOSS and SPRING. We are looking for Application Server environment experience.

We are looking for Java Developer/Architect with 5-10 years experience to join Services Platforms Product Development team.

We have a new project to developing a Telco grade, high performance high availability application developed from the ground up using J2EE JSLEE technologies utilising Agile and Test Driven Design methodologies.

Tasks

You will participate in designing, implementing, testing and documenting the product as one of the software professionals in the team. In addition to traditional software development you will participate in designing and implementing automated software testing, continuous integration and unit testing.

The candidate will be expected to bring their past experience to this development and not only design and develop software but have a meaningful contribution to the architecture and non-functional requirements.
