Java Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVA DEVELOPER to join our client in Charlotte, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Java Developer is needed for an eCommerce project. The client is migrating from a home-grown PHP solution to Java-based Hybris.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Five (5) plus years of experience Java development.
- The ideal candidate must be an experienced developer in most phases of the project life cycle, including Requirements, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Implementation and is required to be knowledgeable in several of the major technology areas within the company.
- Experience with Java-based Web application technologies (Spring MVC, Velocity, Ant, Tomcat, WebSphere 6.1, Web Services, Hibernate)
- To be considered the Java Developer must have solid experience with JSP and Spring
- Experience with development tools such as Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, and Toad for Oracle or Oracle SQL Developer.
- Experience with Web application languages (Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT)
- Experience with database technologies (SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle)
- Experience with database design, object relational mapping tools, complex stored procedures, and query optimization.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience with eCommerce system implementation and customization is a plus.
- Experience with open-source Web application technologies (Apache, PHP) is a plus.
- Experience with .NET Web application technologies (C#, ASP.NET, IIS, LINQ) is a plus.
