Java contract Dublin South Telco

I have numerous contract opportunities for Senior Java programmers. You will be based in Dublin south and this contract is initially for 6 months with a high possibility of extension.

Project Description:- Working in an agile development team, building Java software components in the Touchpoint application. Primary technologies are J2EE, Java Design Patterns, Complex SQL queries.

Responsibilities:- -Analysis of business problems
-Participating in team grooming sessions
-Working in a test-driven development process
-Coordination with product management
-Documenting implementation details
-High quality software delivery

Required Candidate:- -Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
-Typically 3+ years experience in Java engineering
-Proven Agile knowledge and experience
-Proactive, thorough and enthusiastic

Must have experience with:- -Strong Java Programmer (JDBC, Serialisation, Threading, )
-J2EE in a JBOSS environment
-Strong SQL knowledge in an Oracle environment
-JUnit/TDD
-Implementing software patterns (Singletons, Factory, Visitor, MVC )
-High performance, high throughput systems

May have experience with:- -UI development using Flex
-UI development using Swing
-Hibernate/ORM tools
-Atlassian life cycle tools, Maven, SVN, JIRA, Bamboo
-IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse IDE
-Business knowledge of Teleco domain.
