Java Backend Developer IoT (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Backend extension and optimisation of an IoT platform
-Development of server applications with Java and Scala
-Development of APIs and REST web services
-Work in an agile environment
-Direct reporting to the project leader

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Fundamental knowledge regarding software development and related processes (Agile)
-Working knowledge of software development and testing standards and techniques (Unit Tests, TDD)
-Significant experience in software development of server applications with Java (Spring boot, Tomcat) and preferrably also Scala (Spray, Play)
-Strong experience in developing APIs and REST web services
-Experience with Micro Services architectures (Kubernetes, Docker), data structures, information retrieval, HTTP and TCP/IP
-Relational databases, SQL, Oracle preferred
-Experience with Linux/Unix environments, distributed systems, performance analysis
-Affinity to design high quality and maintainable software
