Java ATG Developer (Art Technology Group)

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVA ATG DEVELOPER - (ART TECHNOLOGY GROUP) to join our client in near Philadelphia, PA.

Job Overview:
This position is closer to a lead developer. He or she will be the face to the client (the business unit) for the European website. This person must be able to communicate well to the business leaders in Europe, gather requirements, needs assessments, status updates, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Testing Support of Java J2EE Web applications. Support actions will include:
- Remediation of defects found during test cycles.
- Answering questions on application functionality.
- Creating QA (Quality Assurance) turnover documentation.
- Creating or modifying post-implementation support documentation.
- Creating or modifying installation procedures.
- Providing bug fixes during the post-implementation support period if required
- Perform related work as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of Web development experience in a software development role with experience in formal software design processes.
- Professional design and development experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, JDBC, web services, SOAP, XML, HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of databases and structured data.
- Experience in designing, developing and supporting PL/SQL and stored procedures in Oracle.
- Experience with Apache, Jboss.
- Experience working on customer facing web applications.
- Must have excellent analytical skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Able to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
