JOB: JAVA APPLICATION ARCHITECT

LOCATION: BRUSSELS

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: LONG TERM

DAILY RATE: €500

JAVA ARCHITECT WITH JAVA DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE, WHO DOESN'T MIND ALSO DOING JAVA DEVELOPMENT FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT IN BELGIUM, BRUSSELS. THE JAVA DEVELOPER WILL COME FROM A TECHNICAL BACKGROUND AND WILL HAVE MOVED INTO AN ARCHITECT ROLE.

The Java Architect will have some of the following skills:

- Architecture and design of information systems.
- Review of the architecture of existing systems
- Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and Datamodelling.
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting

Additional skills;

- Software development methodologies (Agile, RUP)
- Service Oriented Architecture
- Applications design
- UML, BPMN
- Modelling tools
- Object Oriented Programming languages
- Relational Database Management Systems
- Business process analysis
