Our client, an international consultancy company based in Switzerland currently seeks a Java architect for a long term freelance engagement in Zurich.
Main Responsibilities
- Architect and design software specifications for new development & refactoring of old development to be consumed by development staff
- Ensure development work is of high quality
- Contribute to overall software strategy and roadmap
- Provide technical advice to development, business, and project management
Required Skills
- Java (JEE,J2EE)
- Web services (SOAP, JAX-WS, JAX-RPC)
- One or more Java EE Application Servers: JBoss 7 AS (preferred), Glassfish, WebSphere, WebLogic
- UML
- Maven, Jenkins
- XML schemes
