Java Application Development Manager - Jersey City Bank 175k

My client, a major investment bank inJersey City, is in search for a development manager to join an IT team in delivering highly scalable, robust, solutions against cost, schedule, quality and time. The application that the person will be overseeing is the build and delivery of trader mandates solution highlighting key risk and control indicators across multiple asset classes for the entire bank. This is a brand new initiative that will be kicking off this spring and will have a global presence for the bank.

On a day to day basis, this hands-on architect will be managing the application delivery from inception through development and to implementation of the program, delivered as a series of implementation components over phased releases. This person needs to be a great team motivator and communicator as they will be interacting with business and technical professionals in multiple governance forums across delivery lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

- 10+ years of Technical Project Delivery Management
- 8+ years hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies, SQL-Server
- Working knowledge of Operations / risk & regulatory control / reporting
- Experience within a large program
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
