Java Analyst Programmer

A Java Developer is required to join a team to participate in the analysis, design and development of the clients ICT systems.
Essential skills required:
J2EE, JSF, Struts and ideally Tapestry as well.
Also experience of testing frameworks and producing test scripts.
XML, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, Javascript
JDeveloper or Eclipse IDE, Maven build scripts, ANT
Plus a working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and Toolkit
Duties include:
Provide technical analysis and design solutions in an Oracle/J2EE environment;
Produce robust, efficient, reliable code and undertake unit testing to the highest standard;
Troubleshoot and resolve problems in development, test, training and live environments;
Develop software to provide business solutions from functional specifications;
Develop and manage the impact of new functionality from work assessments and change requests;
Respond to requests from business analysts and system testers;
Prepare documents for internal and external use to agreed standards;
Comply with methodology, QA and change management procedures;
Prepare for and perform systems implementations.
This role is based on a client site in Glasgow
