J2EE Programmer Analyst

Our Raleigh Retail client has an immediate 6 month contract-to-FTE requirement for (2) J2EE Enterprise level Programmer Analysts. This will be mostly production support with limited new development. Under general supervision you will analyze, develop, modify, install, test and maintain system software. Modify and/or de-bug vendor supplied utilities and packages. Modify, install and prepare technical documentation for system software applications. Under general direction, investigate and/or modify complex application programs from behavior, performance and documented specifications. Ability to quickly learn programming frameworks, modules and classes. Adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment. Competent to work at the highest technical level on all phases of applications programming activities.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of current and extensive hands-on J2EE experience
- 5+ years of current JavaScript experience
- 2+ years of current Oracle or SQL experience
- 2+ years of Spring, MVC, and Hibernate experience, used within the last year
- 2+ years of Web, CSS, Ajax experience, used within the last year
- Ability to think logically and pay close attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, produce documentation artifacts
- Demonstrated ability to develop software based on the description of business logic
- Writing program documentation in accordance with published standards
- Ability to work and produce required results without close supervision
