SENIOR J2EE DEVELOPER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Los Angeles, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Modify existing Java based applications in migrating from Oracle 10G to Oracle 11G.
- Support development and integration of New and existing business critical applications using primarily JAVA/J2EE, XML and Oracle RDBMS.
- Responsible to analyze user request for determining best design and implementation of business solutions on Unix, Linux and Windows platforms.
- Develop and implement Integration solutions for business application across multiple platforms on Windows, UNIX O/S and Linux environments.
- Ensure that documentation is created for system designs and modifications.
- Assist in formulation and implementation of established Software Development life cycle to develop, test and modify system software, utilities and integrate with other application soft-wares by Coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing and debugging.
- Ensure that the developed software is robust and meets user's functional and performance requirements.
- Understand Managed Health-care information systems, subsystems and applications.
- Acquire and enhance technological expertise by becoming current with evolving systems programming, analysis and database technology.
- Develop, foster and maintain an open, professional relationship with other team members within IS and also with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BS/BA in Information Services or equivalent experience
- Eight (8+) years of Java/J2EE development experience.
- Experience with large, high volume applications.
- Experience with ADF, MVC, Struts and Spring framework.
- Experience with jQuery and jQuery UI
- Experience with Maven, Jenkins and bootstrap.
- Experience with Oracle upgrade projects (10g to 11g)
- Experience with Weblogic
- Knowledge with latest Java technologies.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters in Computer Science
- Strong communication skills
