J2EE Developer - Banking

Global financial institution are looking for an experienced J2EE developer for an initial 6 month contract that will extend

- Engage with BA team in identifying functional specifications from business requirements
- Delivery of technical documentation to Citi specification
- The design and implementation of enterprise standard applications
- Work as part of an agile team to deliver core application functionality and regional customizations

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience of design and implementation of enterprise Java applications in a Web Services environment
- Experience of working on projects in the financial services industry
- Experience of working in agile teams using Scrum or other agile methodology
- 5 + years in core and enterprise Java development
- Experience of developing applications with WebSphere CE/ND and/or Apache Geronimo
- Experience in providing detailed design documentation for system components
- Competency in driving test coverage with JUnit

SKILLS:

- Java (1.5 or above)
- Web Services (preferably REST)
- OO Design
- Java security and SSL Certification
- Hibernate or other ORM
- Oracle 10g or higher
- JMS/Tibco ESB integration
- HTML, Javascript, JSP
- Maven build tools
- Subversion
- Experience in working in a Linux or Unix development environment
