J2EE Architect

I am currently hiring a J2EE Architect for a Multinational clients' project being run in Amstelveen, Netherlands. This is for a minimum contract of 1 year with options to extend thereafter based on performance.

THE J2EE ARCHITECT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own the technical design of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Work with business partners, architects and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of systems and determine priority of needs.
- Ensure adherence to defined development life cycle, good software design practices, and Architecture strategy and intent
- Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment
- Responsible for key system design and integration decisions; and for communicating decisions to individuals implementing the system.
- Flexible and Can-Do attitude
- Guide the product team and help them in finding/validating the correct architecture solutions to help streamline the development activities and guard the processes/development guidelines

THE J2EE ARCHITECT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- 10+ years of experience with Java/J2EE background, API/SOA services designing, solutions and standards
- Involved in API Architecture & Design, including selection of technologies, setting technical directions
- Good Knowledge of UML designing (preferred also archimate)
- Good knowledge of software design patterns
- Deep understanding of Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Good knowledge of cloud
- Deep understanding of micro services, Nano services.
- Knowledge of Security concepts and implementation in the Enterprise applications
- Strong knowledge of Web-Services
- Experience and knowledge of Agile methodology
- Involved in proposals and the solution approved by lead architect
