J2EE Analyst/Programmer

My client is a respected Government organisation looking for a J2EE Analyst/Programmer to join their team for an initial 6 month contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Providing analysis, design and programming in the development, enhancement, using web development and relational database technologies
- Developing enhancements for the tracking, analysis and reporting on student assessment data
- Minimum 4 years IT experience
- Significant experience and proficiency with the following: Java, JSP, common J2EE Design Patterns, EJB, HTML, JDBC, XML, STRUTS, SQL (PLSQL) and Oracle databases.
- Experience in the use of various Java Development IDEs and Application Server environments.
- Demonstrated experience in analysis, design, programming and the production of technical documentation
- Experience in system and integration testing of software developed by team members and support for user acceptance testing.
- Experience the design and development of reports.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a small team environment.
