ITIL Configuration Specialist

My client, a Major Multinational Company, are hiring for the position of ITIL Process/CMDB Specialist.

This will be based in their state of the art South Dublin Offices. This will be a long term daily rate contract, with strong rates. A very contract friendly environment awaits you. You will be brought in to; develop and implement an end to end process and an operating model for managing configuration items and maintaining a CMDB (configuration management database). Essentially, you will be enhancing this group's configuration management capabilities. You will deliver a fully functioning, populated and maintained CMDB, with a clear and documented organisational model.

TASKS:

One of your first tasks may be in; Developing and then implementing an end to end process, for managing configured items. On an ongoing basis, you will document and make recommendations to improve the organizational and governance model. You will ensure the configuration management process is deeply Embedded in the company.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

- ITIL Certified
- Strong process management/process mapping experience
- Strong organisation and documentation skills
- Experience working in within an ITIL based service delivery environment
- Previous configuration management experience

WHAT WILL BE BENEFICIAL?

Experience with service desk tools like LANDesk. Also, experience with asset/license management tools such as FrontRange This company can facilitate an immediate start. However, they are happy to accommodate a notice period where necessary.
