ITIL CONFIGURATION MANAGER - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH, FRENCH and DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- ITIL Foundation Certification for over 5 years
- Minimum of years experience in Configuration Management (operational or implementation), including experiences with different IT infrastructure configurations
- Knowledge of the different ITIL v3 deliverables per process, especially for the configuration manager process
- In depth knowledge of the configuration management process, including but not limited to the deliverables, process, documents, interactions etc.
- General and practical knowledge of the use of Service Now is recommended

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Develop the logical data model of the Configuration Management database
- Implement and maintain this logical data model in the service management tool Service Now
- Populate the central CMDB with items from local CMDBs, following the definitions in the logical data model
- Create the service map of the business services contained in the service catalogue
- Develop control mechanisms and key performance metrics to maintain the quality of the CMDB in general and the implemented model
- Integrate with other Service Management processes that depend on the CMDB (change, problem, incident)
- Develop and maintain the configuration management policy, process and work instructions
