ITIL Business Analyst

Out client is seeking an experienced ITIL BUSINESS ANALYST to analyse the business needs, and develop and deliver integrated ITIL based processes supporting overall transition project.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Support subject matter specialists and key stakeholders to transition Incident, Change and Asset Management business practices from existing systems to new best practice ITIL 3 processes
- Review the current processes and prepare target business process models and detailed operating procedures based on best practice ITIL 3 Incident, Change and Asset Management practices
- Evaluate proposed system solutions with system providers to ensure the solutions are consistent with the organisation's expectations.
- Assist the Test Manager to prepare system and user acceptance test plans and scripts and oversee testing to ensure delivery of quality systems
- Facilitate workshops

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Minimum 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst working in a large complex organisation and implementing ITIL 3 based processes
- Proven experience implementing software and hardware asset management
- Understanding of the functioning of Tier 1/Tier 2 Help Desk support services and associated processes
- The ability to develop business process models and associated standard operating procedures in a large complex organisation
- Experience in the development of test cases to support the validation of new software systems
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with end users, key stakeholders, suppliers and the project team
- An ITIL 3 Foundation Certification is highly desirable
