For our client, a leading financial company based in Zurich, Swisslinx are urgently searching for a highly motivated and competent
IT Workplace Architect (Contract, Zurich)
In this challenging position you will be responsible for providing recommendations and creating solutions in the areas of user device strategy, desktop virtualisation, Macs, BYOD. Additionally, you will identify ways to grant access to internal documents from remote devices (iPads, tablets and mobile phones). You will define a strategy for social media and platforms, remote access, mobile device authentication and document security vs. infrastructure security.
This is a contract position in Zurich.
The start date is ASAP.
The contract duration is initially of 3-6 months, with possible extensions.
The working language is English. Knowledge of other languages is nice to have.
For this challenging position we are searching for a candidate with a higher education degree and at least 7 years experience in workplace solutions. The ideal candidate maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging workplace technology trends and developments and monitors outcome of research work constantly.
Strong communication skills are a prerequisite for this position.
