For one of our clients in the financial sector in Zurich, we are searching for an IT Transformation Program Manager for a contract role who has experience in delivering IT projects. The position will give the opportunity to gain experience in a transformation program in a highly successful financial institution where you can have a direct impact on the success of the program and gain valuable experience at the same time.
Key responsibilities
- Project responsibility for a major transformation program related to unsecured funding and intraday liquidity management
- Leading the program, manage interfaces to the various stakeholder management (across all functions) with exposure to Senior Management, adherence to scope, budget and schedule
- Independent supervision of the project
- Recording, analysis, definition, prioritization and testing of new business requirements
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery and IT implementation within the project
- Lead the strategic IT discussion, develop the business case and story line
Ideal Profile
- Higher education in Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, or other relevant degree
- 8+ years of experience as project manager or program manager with IT implementations
- 5+ years of experience in Private or Commercial Banking
- Experience in Investment Banking products, the full F2B process chain with a focus on refinancing (eg funding requirements)
- Knowledge and experience in Treasury and Operations functions
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, technical flair
- Effective Stakeholder Management, experience in facing Senior business stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision
- Fluent in English, fluency in German will be considered an advantage
