For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in BASEL, we are looking for an experienced
IT Test Engineer - Manual Testing/SQL (5661)
The project runs in an agile setup and covers the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including development, business analysis and quality assurance.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- STRONG EXPERIENCE IN MANUAL TESTING WITHIN THE BANKING INDUSTRY OR STRONGLY REGULATED ENVIRONMENT
- IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE IN SQL LANGUAGE AND API & WEB SERVICE TESTING as well as good understanding ofJira, SharePoint, Confluence, IntelliJ, PyCharm, Database concepts and SQL Query tools
- Good knowledge of MULTI DEVICE TESTING (Tablets, Mobile) and CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES
- Proven working experience within an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- Python or automation testing skills are nice to have
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH, GERMAN SKILLS ARE BENEFICIAL
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and execute test scenarios for applications and technical environments
- Document and control test activities
- Present and explain test results to internal staff who are going to use them
- Oversee and run relevant training activities for future users
- Perform functional and non-functional testing
