IT-Telecommunications- Project Manager – 3 Month Rolling Contract – Lo

My client a leading global IT/Telecommunications company require a Project Manager; the prime responsibility is to ensure that the project delivers the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The specific requirement of this position will be to manage the overall program plan for a high level build program in order to drive accelerated build plans ensuring key milestones are completed on/ahead of time and to allocated budget. Principal Job Responsibilities:

• Experience of managing projects impacting different products, services, technologies, processes

• Ensure effective initiation of projects - Manage collation of requirements, estimation process, stakeholder analysis, business case analysis and production of PID

• Build the project team by ongoing identification and securing appropriate resources in advance of them being required

• Manage 3rd Party deliverables, virtual project team and contract staff

• Manage business and project risks, including the development of mitigation and contingency plans

• Agree technical and quality strategy with appropriate members of the Project Board and team members

• Be responsible for project assurance, change control and any required Configuration Management

• Accountable for project financial control, monitor and manage project finance and processes and prepare the Project highlight reports

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

• Professional Qualification (degree or significant industry experience)

• At least 10 years Project Management exposure with exposure in more than 1 Project Management Methodology

• PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMI Project Management qualification

• At least 5 years operational or line management experience in a senior position

• Good facilitation skills - able to run workshops and external project meetings

• Experience in Budget Analysis and Forecasting, Stakeholder Analysis, Vendor Management and Risk and Issue Management

• We are looking for PROACTIVE Project Managers for this project as a must. 3 month minimum rolling contract - London - Market rate
