IT - TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER | BELGIUM | RATE TBN | INITIALLY 4MONTHS CONTRACT

For an international client I am looking for an experienced Project Manager within IT.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage global, regional and local infrastructure projects with varying levels of complexity
- Specify J&J project requests, taking into account the IT guidelines and procedures
- Group, prioritize and optimize those requests
- Take responsibility for gathering project requirements, define/document solutions and associated cost pictures
- Responsible for assembling project teams, identifying appropriate resources needed, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities
- Assist the business in developing risk mitigation strategies for changes
- Participate in change go/no go decisions
- Develop and maintain topology diagrams
- Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure IT commitment dates and project deliverables are met
- Deliver projects within requested timeframe and budget

SKILLS:

- Overall SAP knowledge is required - knowledge regarding specific SAP modules not required but is welcome
- PM skill needed to lead projects to a successful ending
- CSV knowledge
- SOX environment experience
- Additional certification (eg Project Management)
- Strong analytical skills combined with strong synthesis skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strongly result driven.
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Good customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal procedures (SDLC, SOX, )
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and other Office 2007 tools.
- must be able to effectively communicate in oral and written English

NON-TECHNICAL PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines

METHODOLOGY/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
- Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
- Additional PMI certification is a plus

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCIES

- English spoken and written
- Dutch is a plus
