IT Technician (Professional)

Projektbeschreibung
On behalf of a major Pharma client, Harvey Nash is urgently looking for experienced IT Technicians for a 12-months role in Basel (Switzerland).
Main Tasks:
- Evaluating, allocating, installing and maintaining new hardware, software and network and communication components
- Moving and equipping workstations, initiating repairs and replacement of defective hardware, instruct users
- Localizing and eliminating errors with hardware, software and communication network
- Maintaining a technical inventory of all installed and stored hardware, software and network components
- Measuring, analysing and monitoring the load and the quality of systems and network components
- Developing implementation concepts for Servers and local networks
- Maintaining and enhancing small local networks and other HW & SW components with regards of security aspects & troubleshooting
- Coordinating the rollout planning of new components and release changes.
Special requirements and background:
- High school diploma and informatics education (SIZ )
- MCP - MCSE certification is an advantage
- 2 or more years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar
- Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment
- Deep knowhow about PC Hardware and Periphery, Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools
- Experience with at least one Ticketing tool: HP ServiceDesk, Remedy etc. (in this team)
- Strong communication abilities and customer focused behaviour
- Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required
- Experience with Technical Writing for documentation is required
- Very good English and German skills are required (written and spoken)
