IT Technician C Job

IT TECHNICIAN C needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ROCHESTER, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Solid work history and work ethic
- Technical background - such as Help Desk/Desktop Support
- Comfortable providing technical support over the phone using remote access

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Triage group requests
- Support all COTS software to include installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades using remote tools (internal Scripting tool, SCCM, IM and MSTSC)
- Lead software upgrade projects that affect multiple users by using Flexnet reports, ADUC, SCCM, and internal Scripting tool.
- Accountable to create and maintain all COTS software specific documentation
- Further develop and maintain written processes specific to his/her responsibilities
- Drive to reduce number of work requests through automation and report analysis
- Lead project to expand the divisional Software on Demand Web Site to other major sites
- Develop our Scripting support and service
- Strong Knowledge and Experience required:
- Windows 7 64bit
- Software management tools (SCCM, MSTC, ADUC, Flexnet)
- Remedy software or other asset and request tracking software
- Soft Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills to keep up with a fast-paced and demanding work environment
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player in a team focused atmosphere using effective communication skills.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Associates Degree or three (3) years work experience (example Help Desk role)
