IT Systems Analyst (f/m)

Starting date: 1st of April 2016
Length of the contract: 12 Months with possibility of extension

Task description:
*Define the detail steps of a technical migration process of applications that are currently running on Windows, Solaris and Linux to the Windows OS and under virtualization
*Based on the defined technical migration process, analyse evaluate and document the technical migration processes of applications currently running on Windows, Solaris and Linux to the Windows OS and under virtualization
*Participate in the definition of the network topology of complex Windows based multi-tier Applications / systems and their mapping to a datacentre infrastructure which is segregated to several security zones
*Excellent understanding and hands-on implementation experience of multi-tier client server architectures specific to Windows and VMWare
*Understands application/system performance tuning and best practices on achieving it
*Supports and educates development area staff on the concepts related to the technical migration of their applications to Windows and the placement of the application subsystems into the appropriate datacentre security zone
*Follows up and monitors the progress of application development teams and reports on their progress

Your profile:
*Engineering and design experience
*Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
*Good understanding of the Windows Server, Solaris and Linux operating systems
*Good understanding of VMWare virtualization environments
*Good understanding of networking technologies, including firewalls and load balancers
*Good knowledge and hands on experience on problem solving and performance tuning of
*Windows based systems/applications that are running on a multitier architecture
*A working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint, Visio)
*Excellent command of oral and written English with proven drafting and proof reading ability
