IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR/SUPPORTER L1/L2 (CONTRACT UNTIL JULY 2018)

Experis is currently supporting our global client with their exciting project at a client site in Zurich. If you love working in a fast-paced environment with a global team of experts, then please read on!

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ACCOMPLISH? WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

1ST AND 2ND LEVEL SUPPORT:

- Respond to requests for support in a timely manner
- Make initial diagnosis of any problems and apply known solutions where applicable
- Provide an effective interface between users and service providers; this includes documenting incidents, progress checking, and ensuring all diagnostic information is provided for error resolution and incident analysis
- Contribute to the maintenance of the knowledge database
- Ensure IT Help line is covered during service hours

WHICH TASKS ARE YOU EXPECTED TO DELIVER?

- Ensure day to day IT operations
- Provide L1 + L2 work place support to end customers
- Assisting in IT projects
- Handle administrative tasks

FURTHER TASKS ALSO INCLUDE:

- VIP/Executive support
- Test, install and deploy workplace products and services, including regular upgrades and security patches
- Provide event support for video conferences, forums
- Actively contribute in asset inventory management and ensure high quality standards
- Provide local support for testing and roll out of new software packages
- Manage actively the ticket queue and ensure tickets are up to date and escalate, if necessary, to team members or Local IT Manager
- Execute tasks on Local IT check list

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?

- You are expert with the following operating systems and devices: WINDOWS 7, WINDOWS 10, IOS, iPhone, iPad
- Expertise in MS Office, anti-virus, Exchange/Outlook software products
- Experience with:
- Physical and virtual computer techonologies
- Cisco IPT system (user mgmt & end user support)
- Remote Access and security technologies
- LAN technologies incl. WiFi
- Video and Telephone Conference systems
- Printing and copying technologies
- MAC OS/MacBook
- Knowledge of Active Directory for account and device administration
- Ticketing tools

ADDITIONAL:

- PROFICIENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH IS A MUST
- You are a strong communicator and work well independently as well as in a small team.
- Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- High self-motivation, organizational skills with ability to deal with urgencies/priorities and to work under pressure
- Willingness to work in shifts or with defined schedules
- Track record in delivering project work on time
