Our giant pharma client in Switzerland is looking for IT Supporter resource for long term project
POSITION-IT SUPPORTER
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
- Installing, supervising and maintaining workspace, server and LAN systems. Troubleshooting, advising, instructing and supporting users in the event of problems.
MAIN TASKS:
- Implementation and co-ordination of hardware, software and network components and communications installations.
- Coordinating the activities of suppliers, consultants and support staff
- Installation and maintenance of PC's, peripherals, Servers, networks and communication installations
- Follow-up on hardware, software, network and communications problems and invocation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures.
- Testing and implementation of new software products and releases.
- Monitoring the availability of hardware, software and networks. Maintaining an inventory of hardware, software and networks.
- Creation of standardized installation and configuration structures (directory structures, menu systems, user interfaces, backup and recovery procedures)
- Advising the users on workplace ergonomics and procurement
- Creation and maintenance of operating manuals, user guides and check lists.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Informatics Service Support and Service Delivery, working in a regulated environment, with Computer System Validation and in a project environment, ideally in a pharmaceutical industry
- Fluent in English and German
