IT Support Engineer

IT SUPPORT ENGINEER - DUBLIN

UP TO €350.00 PER DAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

A large global company are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their award winning team, this is a great opportunity to work for a truly cutting edge company.

You will be joining the team in Dublin on a 6 month contract and be working in an exciting fast paced environment. The team are looking for someone who has an in-depth knowledge of networking, experience of VMware, Citrix and XenApp. You will be ready to hit the ground running.

You will have:

- Network administration of Microsoft platforms (Windows 2008, Windows 2012)
- In-depth knowledge of networking (experience with Cisco UCS/converged networks an advantage)
- VMware design and administration (VSphere 5.3+)
- Citrix Xenapp design and administration (Xenapp 6.5)
- Experience with change control and release documentation
- SQL Scripting and SQL database Knowledge
- Powershell Scripting and basic programming
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of Solaris 11 and AGA database - Beneficial
- Experience with Advent Geneva/Paladyne/Interview/Mfact - Beneficial

Desirables:

- ITIL certification
- SAN implementation and management
- Enterprise backup software (Netbackup)
