IT Support Consultant - Contract - Network Centric Role

6-8 week contract

CCNA or Equivalent

We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Consultant to join a short term 6-8 week contract dealing with network troubleshooting for our well established and expanding client.

The role itself will involve all aspects of IT support but will specifically focus on IP address creation as well as strong aspects of networking around DNS and DHCP. The company is based at Salford Quays near Manchester and depending on future work-loads this could actually turn into a rolling contract.

KEY SKILLS:

- Strong commercial experience working in a similar IT support role
- A clear understanding of networking
- Commercial knowledge of DNS and DHCP
- Experience of proving support for Windows Server 2012
- Knowledge of Windows 7 support
- Commercial understanding of multi-wireless connections
- Experience in setting up and maintaining Firewalls

DESIRABLE:

- CCNA qualification or equivalent
