IT Specialist

My client is one of the leading telecom providers in the world and they are now looking for an IT Specialist.

Please find the job description below:
- Network and server system maintenance and troubleshooting. IT infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting
- Implement IT standard/policy in responsible offices. Analyse business requirement and initial the IT project to satisfy the requirement.
- Build EU IT infrastructure, including networks, Servers, server room, cabling and door access control/CCTV.
- IT service incident management, availability management, capacity management, continuity management, data backup and recovery
- Help desk support for users, including desktop support, printer/fax machine support and IT training
- Implement information security project in EU. Be responsible for information security checking, reporting, problem solving and auditing

Experience required:
- Proficient in TCP/IP technologies
- Familiar with WAN technologies, knows corporate-level network architecture, knows data communications such as Frame Relay, PPP and MPLS. Proficient in routing protocols and configurations, such as BGP and OSPF
- Familiar with LAN technologies, knows building-level LAN architecture. Proficient in common LAN protocols and configurations, such as VLAN and STP
- Familiar with Windows server systems, such as AD (Active Directory), DNS, DHCP, Web server and SQL server. Proficient in server troubleshooting and maintenance. Knows disk arrays and SAN/NAS storage
- Skilful in IT infrastructure items, such as server room facilities, structure cabling system, UPS, door access control/CCTV and air conditioning
- Skilful in laptop/desktop, OS, office software troubleshooting and maintenance
