IT SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (WEALTH MANAGEMENT & ADVISORY)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for an IT SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT TO WORK WITHIN THE WEALTH MANAGEMENT AND ADVISORY PLATFORM TEAM. Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:

ROLE:

- Overall solution architect for selected WM&A related projects or programs
- Coordination with other solution architects as well as domain architects and domain responsible of affected domains
- Creating, aligning and maintaining solution blueprints and design patterns
- Impact analysis of new requirements and ensuring that new functionality fits into architectural approach and BAU processes
- Ensure that various projects fit together from a solution point of view
- Ensure that built solutions can be operated in a stable and effective manner

SKILLS:

- Over 5 years of experience as an application architecture defining solutions as well as aligning them with various internal and/or external stakeholders
- Converting business and IT requirements into architecture and design
- Previous development background
- Experience in the area of conflict "customizing vs. standard" and "buy vs. build"
- Banking industry experience: ideally with extended business know how in the WM&A area (eg Discretionary and Advisory service model market trends, regulatory challenges in the financial industry)
- Ability to find the right balance between architectural purity and delivery under given constraints
- Experience in UML and BPMN as well as SOA
- Agile as well as waterfall project methodology experience
- Experience with one of the major standard applications in WM&A (eg Temenos Triple'A) is a plus
