IT Solution Architect for Infrastructure services - Finnish Speaker

Montreal Associates are currently looking for Solution Architect to join their Infrastructure Management service line for 3 - 6 months contract. Ideally we would like if the suitable candidate to also consider joining on a permanent basis after the assignment.

- most important: client interaction, simplify complexity
- high level: Application/infrastructure landscape (enterprise architecture)
- high level: service architecture (processes and services)
- lower level: web Servers(any brand), application Servers(Weblogic) and database logical level (any brand) (infrastructure architecture)
- lower level: J2EE, Unix/Linux, networking services (Firewall, load balancing)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Fluency in Finnish and English, both verbal and written.
- Prior experience in consultancy role.
- Experience in requirement gathering and analysis.
- Excellent team work skills
- Positive and service oriented attitude!

Role description:

- Will lead and manage Infrastructure Services (IS) input into the sales cycle, from pre-sales engagement, through solutioning, Sign-on/Sign-off, proposal writing and costing and finally to contract schedule preparation and negotiation;
- Takes responsibility for all aspects of an IS Solution, including: contract negotiation, solution crafting to fit in with IS strategy, Risk Evaluation, Commercial relationship, internal and external presentation, production of the Cost Models and Requirement Management.
- Maintaining client contacts with IT Management and IT Director level;
- Has the ownership of and co-ordination for the total solution, cost estimation and benchmark;
- Determines client scope and is client facing SPOC for solution, eg dialogs, presentations;
- Defines high level solution including business case, with delivery, HR, finance, Transition
- Sets and leads direction for solution and challenges of IS deliverables, incl. technical solution components, service solution design, delivery model, projects, governance and costing/pricing;
- Partner selection and SOW in close co-operation with procurement;
- Monitor solution consistency, business case, conditions, risks and mitigations, assumptions and issues;
- Provide input into DRM as required;
- Mitigate/Minimize delivery risk on system implementation projects by determining the most appropriate delivery approach and by defining comprehensive proposal assumptions.
- Knowledge of the different aspects of the technical solution, delivery as well as business;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be confident presenting
- Knowledge of cost modelling/cost presentation including CODEc tool;
- Knowledge of pricing approaches in the marketplace
