IT Services Global Operations Manager-SC/DV Cleared-South East

Global Support Operations Manager, Infrastructure Support Services Manager, IT Service Manager, ITIL v3, ISO/IEC20000 SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance required by our government, public sector client based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire South East with possible travel to London.

Due to the urgency of the role candidates must hold current SC or DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance

Essential experience;

A strong knowledge of ITIL v3 and ISO/IEC 20000 with a track record of operating and managing within an IT Service Management environment

Knowledge of developing contracts/SLAs to customer requirements

Knowledge and experience of developing service designs

Knowledge of process development in support of end to end life cycles

Knowledge and experience in organisational effectiveness and IT operations management

Knowledge of business and management principles and practices

Knowledge of project management principles and practices

Successful track record of achieving performance and delivery targets

Ability to develop solutions with focus on customer needs

Ability to foster and maintain customer relationships and exceed expectations

Ability to anticipate future trends, priorities and requirements

Sound knowledge of people management and resource planning including recruitment, training and capacity forecasting

Effective communication skills at all levels

Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Desirable

Experience of IT infrastructure and a sound understanding of ICT strategy and aims

Experience managing supported services and working from Service Design Documentation

Knowledge of PAG, Overseas and UK posts and systems

Business management training and experience financial, inventory management

You will be responsible for the successfully delivery of front line IT services holding responsibility for day to day management and the delivery of the Infrastructure IT service management covering the following areas;

Service Desk

Operational Control Centre

Incident and Problem Management

Change and Configuration Management

Release and Deployment Management

Process Improvement
