The role: To be the first point of contact for all technical issues logged by the desk. As well as prioritising and assigning calls, you will also analyse and diagnose IT related problems and provide advice and guidance on how to resolve them.
Key Responsibilities: • Work as part of the global customer services team and provide the right quality and level of service in a timely manner • Be the first point of contact for all technical questions and queries, escalating when necessary • Update internal databases to ensure accurate call logging, response times and billing
• Deal with customer problems in a calm and polite telephone manner. • Log holidays, sickness and plan backfill cover using the pool of UK-based engineers, raising any causes for concern to the appropriate managers Key Technical Skills Required:
• Basic knowledge of PC software/hardware, peripherals and mobile devices
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite Qualifications and Experience • Minimum 5 GCSE passes grades A-C Allied Worldwide is offering a comprehensive in house training programme within in the framework of the national apprenticeship scheme.
